STRUCTURE
The KL League Series is returning for Modern Warfare in 2020. This concept blew up on the Xbox scene for WW2 and while the main concept is still in place, there will be a couple of small changes to the Series.
Previously, the last Series was played over a 10 month period, starting mid December 2017 and ending in mid October 2018. Each League had 16 Teams and lasted for 5 weeks. The next League wouldn't start until a week after the previous one. Teams couldn't win money from each League as the overall Prize Pool went towards the Top 4 from KL Finals. That will remain the case for this year but the overall Series length will be shortened as each League will start 2 weeks after the other.
For the Modern Warfare League Series we will see the Orange, Blue, Red, Yellow, Pink, Green, Purple and Cyan League coming back. The Orange League will start Monday 2nd March and the following Leagues will begin every 2 weeks after that. Each League will have up to 14 Teams and each team will play each other once for a total of 13 Rounds. Teams will have from Monday to Thursday to schedule 3 Rounds for Weeks 1, 2 and 3 but will need to schedule 4 Rounds for Weeks 4.
The Top 4 from each League will Qualify for KL Finals which will begin Monday 13th July. From the 32 Total Teams that Qualify, they will be split into 8 Groups of 4 Teams. Each Team will play each other Team in their Group once and the Top 2 from each Group will advance to Playoffs which will be a Double Elimination Bracket. The Top 3 from Playoffs will win Prize Money. The maximum Prize Pool will be up to $2,800. 3rd Place would take $400, 2nd Place would take $800 and 1st Place would take $1,600. A Prize Pool of $2,800 is only guaranteed if all 112 spots are sold and the total pool will always be determined by the number of total teams that join.

SCHEDULe
PLEASE NOTE: These guidelines are to help all players to schedule their matches and remove any potential disputes when attempting to schedule. I can only advise and assist Teams when these guidelines are met.
- When scheduling, all Days and Times, or any situations you have with rescheduling must be specified, with either a new Day and Time or a time you will agree to wait for a team.
- Your matches for Weeks 1, 2 and 3 are to be played from Monday to Friday. And your matches for Week 4 are to be played from Monday to Sunday. Check the Dates page on your Live League Sheet for the specific Dates, Weeks and Rounds.
- You have from Friday to Monday to schedule all matches for the upcoming week. All scheduled Days and Times must be submitted to the "Scheduled Matches" Channel in the Discord by Monday at 10pm EST. This will give your match an 'Official Schedule'.
- Matches without a reported Date and Time will be believed to be on an 'Open Schedule' and will receive no assistance. But the result can still be reported if it's played.
- The start date to begin scheduling for the upcoming week is the Friday before the Week starts.
- If a team does not respond to you for 48 hours then you can FF them. This does not apply if a match has already been scheduled.
- Matches that have been reported will receive assistance if required.
- When attempting to schedule with your opponent you must be specific about the Days and Times you can play at. If you offer no specific information then assistance is impossible.
- Once a Day and Time has been agreed to it becomes part of the Official Schedule. A match can only be rescheduled if both teams agree to a new specific Day and Time. If there are no specific days and times agreed on then assistance is impossible. The new Day and Time is to be reported to the 'Scheduled Matches' Channel.
- If both teams simply can't agree on a Date and Time to play at, you will both take a FF loss at the end of the match week if your match was on the 'Open Schedule'.
- If both teams agree to a new Day but no Time is specified then they will receive no assistance for the match.
- If a team does not have all 5 players in the lobby 15 minutes after the scheduled time then they FF Map 1. If a Team does not have all 5 players in the lobby 30 minutes after the scheduled time then they will FF the series. If one team FF the series but the opponents FF Map 1 initially, the result will be noted as 3-1.
- If both teams only have 4 players in the lobby after 15 minutes then the host must start or the host team will FF the Map.
- If both teams are waiting on teammates or one team is waiting on another you may agree to wait but you must be specific about how long you wish to wait. If no specific wait time is mentioned then assistance is impossible.
- If your match is in the 'Open Schedule' you must agree to a specific Date and Time. If you do not show up for ANY reason on that Date and Time then you FF the series. If you have not been specific when scheduling both teams have attempted to reschedule then you will not receive assistance for ANY reason. And if a result is not reported in time both Teams will be given a FF loss.

RULES
Match Build Up:
- As a rule, you must have at least 3 Main Roster players for a Series and you will only be allowed to use up to 2 Outside Players. Your opponents may allow you to use less Main Roster players and more Outside Players but they are not obligated to.
- You can substitute a player, but you can only bring in a Main Roster player or a Sub from the Roster to replace an outside player. If your opponents allow you to sub a different type of player then you are free to do so.
Hardpoint Disconnection Rules:
- The game is in the early stages until the first hill has expired.
- If there is a lag out before or during the first hill then the map is restarted from 0-0.
- If there is a lag out after the first hill but the gap is 60 points or less then the map is restarted to be played for remaining points.
- If there is a lag out after the first hill but the difference is 61 points or more then the map is continued.
Search and Destroy Disconnection Rule:
- If a player lags out, both teams must finish the round and then they can end the game and restart it to play for remaining rounds.
Domination Disconnection Rule:
- If a player lags out in either round, the map is continued until the half is finished. The player can then be added back unless 2 rounds have been played.
Streaks:
- Streaks will not effect these rules. If teams wish to include streaks in their series they can agree on predetermined outcomes or agree on a compromise if a problem occurs.
Rosters:
- You must submit a full Team of 5 for the League.
- You can make 6 Roster Changes during the League.
- You can use up to 6 Outside Player strikes during the League.
- If you go over 6 Roster Changes or Outside Player strikes you will automatically FF the next match on your schedule unless that opponent would actually like to play you. Teams you play can push this back Round by Round but it will be set in stone for the last Round if it gets that far.
Gentleman's Agreements:
- Any of the above rules may be adjusted by teams for each Series if they agree to do so. If your opponents break a GA you have the right to FF them on the current map.
- You must follow these instructions when a GA is broken and you wish to FF that team for the map. First, the player on your team that has seen the broken GA in game will need to clip the recent footage and the clip must show a clear sign of the GA being broken. If you are certain that the clip will show clear proof then leave the game straight after. Second, the player that spoke to the opponents and agreed on the GA must screenshot the part conversation where the GA has been agreed.
- If the clip and the screenshot clearly show that the GA was broken, simply tell your opponents you will FF them for the map. If they refuse to continue you can FF them for the Series.
- If you proceed to finish the Map after you have spotted a broken GA then the Map result will stand. Showing evidence of a broken GA will not be taken into account.
- In the case of a dispute, when the evidence you have provided has been reviewed and you have not shown clear proof of the GA being broken or even agreed on to begin with, you will FF that map yourselves for causing the Map to end.
- If a Class or Streak related GA is broken at any time during a Map, regardless of the Result, the Map is forfeited. If a Skin related GA is broken/noticed within the first 60 seconds of a Respawn or the 1st Round of SnD then the Map can be forfeited but if it is broken/noticed anytime after those points then the Map is to be continued.
- A broken GA cannot be the decider of a Series. Meaning if a Team can win the Series off a broken GA, that Map is to be restarted from 0-0, or they can choose to continue the Map.
- If a Map is finished before you got your proof of a broken GA and left the Map then the end result will stand.

PRE AND POST MATCH
VETO PROCESS
The 'Home Team' who is shown on the left of the schedule picks Maps and side for Games 1, 3 and 5. The 'Away Team' shown on the right of the schedule hosts Games 1, 3 and 5. This is based on a majority agreement from players in the League. This has been pointed out that this is not the official way of doing Vetoes but it has been simplified to avoid complications for matches. |
