Cheetos Call of Duty career started back in the days of MW2 where he and his best friend at the time 'Allender' started playing on Free Ladders under 'CHEETOWxALLENDER'. From this, they ended up going around 0-50 and that was Cheetos introduction to the competitive scene.

Fast forward to Black Ops 2 and Lucas was now struggling to get on a team. He was replying to everyone on GameBattles that was looking for Free Agents but never really received responses due to him being quite young still. Because of this, Cheeto was only playing Pubs and 1v1 Tournaments for the remainder of BO2.

Towards the end of Ghosts he began to play competitive, as MLG had started their streaming service where they contracted all Pros to stream on their platform, it became Cheetos dream to make it to the same level. With about 4 months left until the next CoD installment was set to come out, Lucas began to grind the game hard which he says got him "relatively nowhere within the scene, but I got on everyday religiously to prepare for Advanced Warfare".

AW comes out and this is where Cheeto felt his competitive career really started. He started off the year really well with his duo at the time 'Pillio' and they just kept on winning. 2v2 Tournaments were too easy, UMG and GameBattles was their "playground", Twitter Tournaments posed no challenge and they wanted more areas to dominate. Around January during AW Cheeto started playing respawn. He and his duo entered into the UMG Playoff Ladder and they started grinding. They were unable to find any success for the first Season until they played the number 1 Seed on the Ladder who Cheeto had a solid performance against and they managed to pull off a win. The top seeded team lost a player due to personal reasons, and so they needed a replacement. Cheeto was the guy for them as Main AR. Out of the 4 remaining UMG Playoffs they were able to win 2 of them. Lucas attended 2 eBash LANs which they won back to back, one in Indianapolis and the other in Indiana, only dropping 3 Maps in total across both events. He finished out the year strong, but competitive switched over to PlayStation 4 and Cheeto had to remain on Xbox for a little while.

Lucas then went into Black Ops 3 still on Xbox while all of his past teammates had switched over to PS4. He thought that he would at least try to make a name for himself on the Xbox circuit by playing wagers and he entered into some Twitter Leagues which he won a couple of. Cheeto said he met some of his closest friends during that year, but that was the end of that for him on BO3.

Then became the decline for Cheeto on Infinite Warfare as he described it as "my worst year to date". He played competitive for around two weeks and in that time he was always carrying his team, so he decided to quit soon after. He didn't play the game very much afterwards and he had a huge lack of confidence in his personal ability in his mind to justify playing over 8 hours per day to keep losing.

After being pretty much non existent in competitive during the previous game, Cheeto claims he was "halfway decent" at World War 2, even though he hated the game. As he was still on Xbox he struggled to find a decent team, but he played in a couple of Twitter Leagues but didn't win much aside from wagers. He had saved up for the past 2 years so he was finally able to get a PS4 so he could "actually compete the way I wanted to".

His first description of his Black Ops 4 experience was simply, "my year". He started playing just after Christmas when he had a little extra money and he got himself a PS4 Pro to compete online. But now it was Cheetos time to start playing at events. His first was AGN Ohio with Slick, Caution, Austhyn and Stevekills. He met these guys about a week before the event and he had never met them in person, or even played any competitive match with them. He says that he and Slick were "amazing" while the others were just average. He became known as "the kid screaming at everyone". Out of 23 Teams they placed in the Top 8 which he believes wasn't a bad showing for a pickup team.

His next BO4 Event was ETG in New York which he attended with Franetrain, Slick and the duo he refers to as the "Complex eSports darlings" Privacy and Lodge. They got double first rounded and were completely embarrassed. But Cheeto and his team moved on and went to Helix in New Jersey expecting a different outcome, but they were only able to win one round before losing their next 2 matches.

A few months later, Cheeto went to the Midwest eSports LAN in Missouri and competed with the same team but the performance was much improved. Lucas says that they played their best CoD together at that event but they fell short to Mawxed & Co and ended up placing 5th out of 16 Teams. He said he was tired of Top 3 eluding him and so for the next Midwest event they made a couple of changes which saw DeadlyResults and HyPno brought in after losing Slick and Lodge. They finished the event in the Top 8 out of 24 Teams with what he felt was arguably the best team he'd had so far. He believed his personal game was good enough and he always showed up when he was needed even though at this point he was tired of awful placements.

He was later approached by Stooky and Prodigy. As one had finished 2nd at AGN Ohio and the other had won the most recent CLT event, he saw that joining forces with guys was an easy decision. Their first event together was the Kinetic Leagues LAN in Columbus, Ohio. Winning it from a Losers Bracket run, taking the first Grand Final series 3-0 and reverse sweeping in the second series to win the event. Cheeto was meant to be playing with HyPno, Prodigy, Stooky and Adocts going into the AGN x CLT event in Charlotte a week later but there were some issues surrounding Adocts, which meant they had to pick up a new player and they ended up with a "crushing 3rd Place finish". They decided to approach "back to back T24 Anaheim and Miami God" Jake to add to the roster for the upcoming event at Helix eSports and they felt they had something to prove going to the East Coast. They showed up for the event, only dropping 2 maps from start to finish and Cheeto picked up his 2nd LAN Gold Medal in the space of a couple of weeks after beating Oog & Co in the Grand Finals.

Lucas has clearly had his fair share of ups and downs in terms of his experience playing Call of Duty, but while he was stuck on Xbox you might say he was a 'Sleeping Giant' that was waiting for the right combination of players and opportunities to start dominating. He is once again teaming with HyPno, Prodigy, Stooky and Adocts but they are currently looking for an org for the upcoming Modern Warfare season. Aside from being a tough opponent on LAN he's a guy that makes you smile and laugh from just being himself when on and off the console. A video emerged on Twitter a couple of months ago of Cheeto going somewhat 'insane' at the station while he was playing on... When he and other players were approached by a member of staff at KL Columbus about the abusive language being used, he simply responded with "well I have kind of made a name of myself for being a toxic player" which got its laughs. An interesting future awaits for Cheeto!
